About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
Manage all phases of programs from inception through completion, Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes milestones and monitors master plans and schedule.
Disciplined program execution with a bias towards action, analytical presentation and problem-solving skills; the ability to gain internal support; and the ability to establish and maintain a solid working relationship with technical staff, managers, and peers.
Establish cost controls and monitor adherence to contract requirements, reporting and justifying of costs. Establish and monitor adherence to program plans including schedule and risk management, resource planning, requirements management, and cash flow management. Prepare and issues operational and program directives and controlling product configuration.
Design and execute formal capture plans and monitor competitor activity for each capture. The candidate is expected to exercise sound judgment within broadly defined practices and policies; regularly interact with all levels of management, technical staff, and customers; and display a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent education.
Education Preferred: MS in Engineering and/or MBA.
Certifications Preferred: Certification in Defense Program Management. Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Experience (type and length) required: Typically requires a minimum of five years of related experience.
Experience (type and length) preferred: U.S Military or DOD background also preferred with military officer experience desired.

The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is
$124,300 - $189,700 per year.
